How to add attachments to invoices


Here's a step-by-step guide on how to add attachments to invoices in InvoiceQuick using both methods:


Method 1: Adding Attachments While Creating an Invoice

Creating a New Invoice:

    • Option 1: Click on "Create" at the top or on the sidebar.
    • Option 2: Go to the "Invoices" page and click on "Add Invoice."


Invoice Details:

    • Fill in all the necessary invoice details, such as client information, due date, and line items for the invoice.


Adding Attachments:

    • Scroll to the bottom of the invoice page. You will find an "Attachments" section.

Supported File Formats:

    • InvoiceQuick supports various file formats for attachments, including .pdf, .jpg, .png, .svg, .rar, and .zip.

Maximum Files and File Size:

    • You can attach up to 12 files per invoice.
    • Each file should not exceed 2MB in size.

Attach Files:

    • Click on the "Attach Files" button in the "Attachments" section.

Select Files:

    • A file dialog box will open. Navigate to the location on your computer where the files you want to attach are stored.

Choose Files to Attach:

    • Select the files you want to attach by clicking on them. You can select multiple files at once, depending on your platform.

Upload:

    • Once you've selected the files, click "Open" or the equivalent option in the dialog box to start uploading the attachments.

Confirm Attachments:

    • You should now see the attached files listed in the "Attachments" section of your invoice. The files are ready to be sent with the invoice.

Complete Invoice:

    • Finish filling out any remaining invoice details.

Save or Send:

    • After attaching the files, you can save the invoice as a draft or send it to your client.

  • Access the Invoices Page:
    • From the dashboard or sidebar, click on "Invoices" to access your list of invoices.

Select the Invoice:

    • Locate the invoice to which you want to add attachments and click on it to open it for editing.
